Exhaled nitric oxide (NO) measurement: Exhaled nitric oxide is elevated by allergic airway inflammation. Therefore, it is a good indicator of allergic asthma. In addition, it is a good parameter to follow the efficiency of therapy with inhaled corticosteroids.
